“ I've been here twice and as an Italian myself I can assure whoever reads this review that this place has one of if not the best chef in all of York. The food is excellent and everyone is incredibly nice, I think I'll probably be going back very soon. The specials are certainly the best part with the star of the show being the clams and mussels. I do recommend booking before going it can get busy sometimes. ”

“ Just been here tonight for the very first time with my wife, after finding this gem by chance. The food is spot on. The legendary steak definitely lived upto its name. Absolutely loved it. The food was fantastic and the staff are very friendly here. It's very busy at times so I would suggest booking a table in advance. We will definitely be returning here and will be recommending this restaurant as a lovely place to go for food. ”

“ Booked a table, but arrived 40 minutes early! Thankfully they had a free table and had no issues getting us seated early. The Lovely friendly staff came straight over with the specials board and took our drinks order. The food arrived and it was very well presented and tasted delicious. We will definitely be going back to try more of the menu ”

“ Exceptional!! Our first visit here last night, after a recommendation. Myself, and my two daughters aged 18 and 7. It was outstanding!! The food was delicious, the atmosphere and service were also great. We chose a garlic bread and tomato starter to share which we couldn't fault. They perfectly catered for my 7 year old too with a half portion of pizza! Lasagne had the most layers of pasta that we'd ever seen, My eldest daughter said it was amazing! Spinach and ricotta cannelloni was delicious! Best one I've ever had! Desserts were HUGE and delicious! Great value for money too. We will definitely be back. A HUGE you to all involved. If you've not visited before you must! We will definitely be back again with hubby and our parents. Thank you again ”
